You may not know exactly what it is, but if you were or are pregnant then chances are you have experienced it. This nagging dull pain in your pelvic area while pregnant. I could feel my hips spreading like JIF. It’s called Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction and it hurts like hell.

I couldn’t stand or sit for more than 10 minutes and when I finally did move I felt like the tin man looking for an oil can. If you have this, doctors recommend avoiding straddling, twisting movements, and they say to keep your knees together when turning over in bed. So, basically sex is out of the question, not that you wanted to anyway.

It felt like someone put cinder blocks on my crotch. I thought I was going to have to live with this for the rest of my life. Some women do, but luckily the pain went away  2 months after I gave birth or “pooped the baby out”. (refer to How I Had a Natural Child Birth)

After I pooped the baby out, I used a belly band to help flatten my stomach and I also wrapped it around my hips to help keep them in place and support the ligaments. As the weeks went on I made a 100% recovery.

That does not sound like fun. Maybe vomiting and acid reflux wasn’t so bad afterall.
    I’m glad you’re feeling better.
